Paul Jenkins renowned deep-sky astrophotographer and society member will give an informal talk that outlines what astrophotography is all about and why you should take it up deep-sky astrophotography as a hobby, from imaging constellations using a camera lens, up to using CCD camera and filters, etc.
Note: Photoshop techniques & processing skills will not be discussed at this talk and will be held at a more appropriate workshop event, date to be confirmed.
If time is available at the end of the talk Paul will go through a simple process using PixInsight, image processing software.
