SAS President Dave Newton gives an introduction to the work and alternative cosmology of the late maverick astronomer Halton Arp. Much of Arp’s work was in the field of galaxies and galactic evolution.
Following in the footsteps of Edwin Hubble. Arp delighted in finding the exceptions to the rule, and presented here is some of the evidence that led Arp to his radically different – and largely unaccepted – interpretations of redshift and how quasars and galaxy clusters are created.
