The Derwent to Cygnus fundraising bike ride on the 9th August 2015 has been postponed until the new season, possibly September/October this year.
This has been decided by the commitee due to a combination of factors:
- people’s unavailability to take part for this event date,
- lack of adequate uptake for required number of participants,
- a recent event clash.
Therefore, as we want the fundarising bike ride to be even more successful than last year’s ride and raise even more funds for our observatory. Therefore, the event is to be postponed until some time in the new season, possbly in September/October this year.
The committe will discuss and organise a new date for the bike ride over the forthcoming committee meetings.
