This is a fundraising event for 4th Washington cub scouts who are a recently formed pack (and the one that Graham Dark’s son belongs to).

We are doing this as a favour to them to help them raise some funds.

They are coming along with parents and other family members.

There’s going to be a big group – up to 100 people in total from the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

The visit is from 6.00pm until 9.30pm on Saturday 21st November 2015.

The plan is to split them into 3 groups and do three different activities with them:

1. Classroom (Discovery room).
2. Cygnus Observatory.
3. Shed/Barn.

As it’s a big group, the more of our SAS members who can come down with scopes the better.

Please participate, bring you scope and/or yourself if you can to make it, to make this fundraising event astronomical.
