Corporate Fundraising Event – A night with the Stars at Cygnus Observatory

Join astronomers for the corporate charity fundraising evening at the Cygnus Observatory with staff of North Group (PoC Graham Darke) and the SAS to be held on Saturday 15th September 2018 from 8 pm  – 10 pm.

Note: This a private corporate fundraising event for the staff North Group and SAS participants ONLY.

Date: Saturday 15th September 2018.

Time: from 8 pm – 10 pm .

Entry: North Group Staff & SAS participants ONLY.

(Contributions to SAS fundraising nonetheless welcomed).

Staff of North Group are invited to attend (through: POC Graham Darke) for a fun night of assorted astronomical treats at the Cygnus Observatory  and various SAS members telescopes of all shapes and sizes at/around the WWT Washington Wetlands Centre.

As this is a fundraising event  with a possible large turnout we need as many SAS members astronomers & volunteers to participate as possible with & without telescopes to support this event.

• Powerful telescopes will be available to view:
  • The Moon.
  • The planets Mars, Saturn, Uranus & Neptune.
  • The Andromeda Galaxy (M31).
  • Gorgeous open Star Clusters .
  • Plus many other astronomical wonders of the night sky in September.
